Inviting friends

PDF Store is invite-only, which means new users need an invite before they can register. As an existing user, you can invite friends and colleagues from your dashboard.

How many invites do I have?

• Free plan: 3 invites
• Pro plan: 10 invites

These are lifetime limits, not monthly. Once you have used all of them, you cannot send more unless you upgrade to Pro or are granted additional invites by the PDF Store team.

How to invite someone

1. Log in and go to your dashboard.
2. Find the invite section and enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
3. Send the invite. We email them a link with their invite code already filled in.

You invite people by email address rather than by handing out a code. The invite is tied to the address you entered, so it will only work for that person. There is nothing for you to copy and pass on.

How invites work

• Each invite can only be used once.
• Invites expire after 7 days. If someone does not get round to it in time, you can resend the invite from your dashboard, which gives them another 7 days.
• Resending does not use up another one of your invites.
• Your dashboard shows which invites are still pending, which have been accepted, and how many you have left.

People you have sent files to

You do not always need to spend an invite. If you send someone a transfer and they download it, they are offered an account off the back of that download, credited to you, and it does not come out of the allowance above. See getting an account after a download.

Responsibility

When you invite someone to PDF Store, you are vouching for them. If a user you invited violates our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, it may affect your account as well. Please only invite people you know and trust.
