Reporting abuse

PDFStore takes abuse seriously. If you have received a link to a transfer that contains illegal, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate content, you can report it directly from the download page.

How to report a transfer

  1. Visit the transfer's download link.
  2. Look for the "Report abuse" link on the page.
  3. Fill out the report form with a description of why you believe the transfer violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
  4. Submit the report.

What happens after you report

All abuse reports are reviewed by the PDFStore team. We will investigate the reported transfer and take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Removing the transfer and permanently deleting its files.
  • Suspending or banning the account that created the transfer.
  • Reporting the content to relevant authorities if required by law.

What counts as abuse?

Our Acceptable Use Policy outlines prohibited content and behaviour. In general, you should report transfers that contain:

  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Malware, viruses, or other malicious software
  • Content that infringes on someone's copyright or intellectual property
  • Harassment, threats, or content intended to harm others
  • Spam or phishing attempts

If you are unsure whether something should be reported, err on the side of caution and submit a report. We would rather review a report and find no issue than miss something harmful.
