File size limits and supported types

PDFStore supports a wide range of file types, but there are size limits that depend on your plan.

Per transfer means the combined size of all files in a single transfer. For example, on the Free plan you could send five files of 400 MB each (totalling 2 GB) in one transfer.

Active storage is the total space used by all your non-expired transfers. Once a transfer expires and its files are deleted, that space is freed up. If you reach your storage limit, you will need to wait for existing transfers to expire or delete them manually.

Supported file types

PDFStore accepts most common file types, including but not limited to:

• Documents — PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, CSV, RTF
• Images — JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, WEBP, TIFF
• Archives — ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, GZ
• Media — MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV, AVI
• Other — most other common file formats are accepted

Certain file types may be blocked for security reasons (for example, executable files like .exe or .bat). If you need to send an executable, consider placing it inside a ZIP archive first.

What if my file is too large?

If your file exceeds the per-transfer limit for your plan, consider splitting it into multiple smaller transfers or compressing it into a ZIP archive. Once the Pro plan launches, you will be able to upgrade for larger transfers up to 20 GB.
