Deleting your account

If you no longer wish to use PDFStore, you can permanently delete your account. This action is irreversible, so please read this page carefully before proceeding.

What happens when you delete your account

• All your transfers — both active and expired — will be permanently removed.
• All uploaded files still on our servers will be permanently deleted.
• Your profile information (name, email, password) will be erased.
• Any unused invite codes you generated will be invalidated.
• Share links for your transfers will stop working immediately.

How to delete your account

1. Log in to your PDFStore account.
2. Go to your profile settings page.
3. Scroll to the "Delete Account" section at the bottom of the page.
4. Enter your password to confirm your identity.
5. Click the delete button and confirm when prompted.

Before you delete

Consider the following before deleting your account:

• Download your own files first — if you have any transfers with files you want to keep, download them to your own device before deleting your account.
• Notify your recipients — if you have active transfers, let the recipients know so they can download the files before your account is removed.
• This cannot be undone — once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover it or any associated data.

After deletion

Your email address will be freed up and could be used to register a new account in the future (with a valid invite code). However, none of your previous data will be recoverable.
