Deleting transfers

If you no longer need a transfer to be available, you can delete it before its expiry date. Deleting a transfer permanently removes all associated files from PDFStore's servers and disables the share link.

How to delete a transfer

1. Log in and go to your dashboard.
2. Find the transfer you want to delete.
3. Click the delete or revoke button on the transfer.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What happens after deletion

• All files in the transfer are permanently deleted from our servers.
• The share link will no longer work. Anyone who visits it will see a message that the transfer is no longer available.
• The storage space used by the transfer is freed up, reducing your active storage usage.

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once files are deleted, they cannot be recovered. If you need to share the same files again, you will need to create a new transfer.

Why delete a transfer early?

There are several reasons you might want to delete a transfer before it expires:

• The recipient has already downloaded the files and you want to free up storage space.
• You sent the wrong files and want to remove them.
• You no longer want the files to be available for download.
• You are approaching your active storage limit and need to make room.
