How to send files
Sending files with PDFStore is straightforward. Once you are logged in with a verified account, you can create a transfer in just a few steps.
Step-by-step guide
- Navigate to the upload page — click "Send Files" from your dashboard, or go directly to the create transfer page.
- Add your files — drag and drop files onto the upload area, or click to browse your device. You can upload multiple files in a single transfer.
- Add a recipient — enter the email address of the person you want to send the files to. They will receive an email with a download link.
- Set a password (optional) — if you want extra security, add a password. The recipient will need to enter it before they can download your files.
- Add a message (optional) — include a short note to give the recipient context about the files.
- Click Send — your files will be uploaded and the recipient will be notified by email.
After sending
Once your transfer is complete, you will be taken to a confirmation page showing the unique share link. You will also receive a confirmation email. The transfer will appear on your dashboard where you can manage it at any time.
Tips
- Make sure your files do not exceed the size limits for your plan. See File size limits and supported types for details.
- If you are sending sensitive documents, always use password protection.
- You can share the download link manually as well — just copy it from the confirmation page or your dashboard.
