What is PDFStore?
PDFStore is a private, invite-only file transfer service based in the United Kingdom. It allows you to upload files and share them securely with others via unique download links.
Unlike mainstream file-sharing platforms, PDFStore is designed with privacy and simplicity at its core. There are no ads, no tracking scripts, and no third-party analytics. Your files are stored on UK-based infrastructure powered by Cloudflare R2 and are automatically deleted once they expire.
Key features
- Secure file transfers — Upload files and share them via a unique link. Only people with the link (and the password, if you set one) can download your files.
- Password protection — Optionally protect any transfer with a password for an extra layer of security.
- Automatic expiry — All transfers have an expiry date. Once expired, the files are permanently deleted from our servers.
- UK based — Application and database hosted in the UK, files stored securely in the EU. Subject to UK and EU data protection law.
- No recipient sign-up required — The people you send files to do not need a PDFStore account. They simply click the link and download.
- Email notifications — Recipients receive an email with the download link, and you receive a confirmation email when your transfer is sent.
Who is PDFStore for?
PDFStore is designed for individuals and professionals who need a straightforward way to send files without handing their data over to large cloud platforms. Because the service is invite-only, the community stays small, manageable, and free from abuse.
Free and Pro plans
Every account starts on the Free plan, which gives you up to 2 GB per transfer, 5 GB of active storage, and 15 transfers per month. Files expire after 7 days.
The Pro plan (£10/month or £108/year) increases these limits to 20 GB per transfer, 50 GB of active storage, 100 transfers per month, and a 30-day expiry window. Pro users can also send to up to 5 recipients per transfer.
