Verifying your email to download

If you have been sent a link and are asked to confirm your email address before downloading, the sender locked the transfer to specific people. Only the addresses they listed can access the files.

How to download

Open the link the sender gave you.
Enter the email address the files were sent to.
Check your inbox for a six-digit code from PDF Store.
Enter the code on the download page. Your files will unlock.

The code lasts 15 minutes and works once. If it expires, choose Send a new code and we will email you another.

The code has not arrived

A few things to try, in order:

Check your spam or junk folder. This is by far the most common reason.
Make sure you entered the right address. It has to be the exact address the sender used. If they sent to your work address, your personal one will not work.
Wait a minute and request another. Email is occasionally delayed.

For your protection we show the same message whether or not an address is on the transfer, so "we have sent it a code" does not confirm that you are on the list. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, the likeliest explanation is that the sender used a different address for you. Ask them which one they used.

"That code is no longer valid"

This means one of three things: the code has expired, it has already been used, or too many incorrect codes have been entered. In every case, request a new one and it will work.

Someone forwarded me the link

Forwarded links will not work for transfers locked to named recipients. That is the point of the feature: possession of the link is not enough on its own.

If you need access, ask the sender to add your address, or to send you the files directly. Neither we nor the recipient can add you.

Do I need a PDF Store account?

No. Verifying your email address is not the same as creating an account, and you will not be signed up for anything. We use the address only to confirm you are one of the intended recipients, and to record that the files were collected.
