Last updated: 3 April 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using PDFStore at pdfstore.co.uk (the "Service"), operated by PDFStore. This policy exists to ensure that PDFStore remains safe, legal, and reliable for everyone.

By using PDFStore, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement.

1. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, share, or distribute any of the following through PDFStore:

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

PDFStore has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material. Any CSAM discovered on the Service will be immediately removed and reported to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and other relevant authorities. There are no warnings or second chances for this type of content.

Terrorism and Extremist Content

Content that promotes, supports, or glorifies terrorism or violent extremism is strictly prohibited. This includes recruitment material, propaganda, and instructions for carrying out acts of violence.

Malware and Malicious Software

You must not use PDFStore to store or distribute viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, trojan horses, or any other malicious software designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to computer systems.

Stolen Data and Credentials

Sharing stolen personal data, leaked databases, login credentials, financial information, or any data obtained through unauthorised access is prohibited.

Copyright and Trademark Infringement

You must not use PDFStore to share content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted material (films, music, software, books) and trademarked content shared without authorisation.

Harassment and Threats

Content intended to harass, threaten, intimidate, or "dox" (publicly expose personal information about) another person is not permitted.

Fraud and Deception

You must not use PDFStore to distribute fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content, including phishing pages, scam documents, or forged materials.

2. Prohibited Behaviour

The following activities are not permitted when using PDFStore:

  • Automated or bulk uploads without prior written permission from PDFStore.
  • Circumventing limits — Attempting to bypass file size limits, rate limits, transfer quotas, or other restrictions on the Service.
  • Spam and phishing — Using PDFStore to send unsolicited messages, spam, or phishing attempts.
  • Unauthorised access — Attempting to access, download, or tamper with transfers belonging to other users.
  • Reverse engineering — Decompiling, reverse engineering, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service.

3. File Type Restrictions

To protect our users, certain potentially dangerous file types are blocked from upload:

This list may be updated from time to time. If you believe a file type has been blocked in error, please contact us.

4. Enforcement

We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may:

  • Remove content without notice for serious violations, including any content that is illegal or poses an immediate risk of harm.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts of users who violate this policy.
  • Report to law enforcement where required or appropriate. In particular, CSAM is reported immediately to the National Crime Agency (NCA). Terrorism-related content is reported to the relevant authorities.
  • Cooperate with legal requests, including court orders, warrants, and other lawful demands from law enforcement agencies or regulators.

Repeat Infringers

Accounts that accumulate three or more violations of this Acceptable Use Policy will be permanently terminated. Serious violations (such as CSAM, malware distribution, or terrorism content) result in immediate termination regardless of prior history.

5. Copyright Takedown Process

If you believe that content hosted on PDFStore infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice.

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

Response Time

We aim to review and respond to valid takedown notices within 24–48 hours. If the notice is valid, the infringing content will be removed and the uploader will be notified.
